CQWW CW 2006

Posted by: peter In: contesting

CQWW CW has now passed, and I managed to hand in my database design assignment for university on time! this Thursday. which kept me off air for most of the weekend apart from the last 2 hours. which I managed to make 52 qsos which I think is pretty good going.

All these contacts were made on 40/80 most being on 40m, 34 contacts and even managed to work 5A7A first shout which pleased me! 80m didn’t seem to bad either, this band normally results in little amount of contacts but I actually managed to work just under 20!

Equipment was:

Rig: Kenwood TS570

Antenna’s:

  1. Hustler 6BTV
  2. Windom 80m Special

Software: Wintest
